Other raw lamb brands we've tried tend to have a strong aroma, and we assumed this was just normal for dog food. This isn't the case with Carnevore Mountain lamb and I can only guess is it's because it's really human grade and high quality. It smells like the lamb we buy ourselves at our local butcher!
