Description
Beef lung treats from Carnevore Mountain are a light, protein-rich reward made from grass-fed cattle raised in Ontario. These single-ingredient treats are freeze-dried raw to retain over 95% of their nutritional value, delivering clean, functional nutrition in a highly palatable form.
Beef lung is naturally high in protein and low in fat, making it an excellent option for dogs needing weight-conscious rewards without sacrificing taste or nutrition. Rich in iron and essential vitamins such as A, D, E, and B12, this organ meat supports cardiovascular health, proper nerve function, and overall cellular health. Selenium further contributes to immune and metabolic support.
Our freeze-drying process preserves the integrity of the ingredient without the use of chemicals or preservatives. The result is a fully digestible treat that is easy to break apart, ideal for training, enrichment, or everyday rewarding. Because it is naturally airy and lightweight, beef lung is suitable for dogs & cats of all sizes and ages.
Carnevore Mountain beef lung is made from human-grade beef and contains no antibiotics, hormones, grains, gluten, fillers, or artificial additives. Designed as a supplemental treat and not a meal replacement, beef lung treats provide a clean, nutrient-dense option for pet parents seeking simple, responsibly sourced rewards their pets love.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are freeze-dried treats?
Freeze-dried dog treats are raw meat-based treats that undergo a special process to remove moisture while preserving nutrients, texture, and flavor. This makes them lightweight, shelf-stable, and convenient while still offering the benefits of raw feeding.
How are freeze-dried treats different from dehydrated treats?
Freeze-dried treats are made by rapidly freezing the ingredients and then slowly removing moisture through sublimation. This process retains more nutrients and flavor than traditional dehydration, which uses heat and can alter the nutritional profile.
Are freeze-dried treats raw?
Yes! Our freeze-dried treats are raw, just without the moisture. They retain the natural enzymes, amino acids, and nutrients found in fresh, raw meat.
What are the benefits of freeze-dried treats for dogs?
Freeze-dried treats are highly nutritious, easy to digest, and packed with flavour. They make excellent high-value training rewards and meal toppers, and they’re perfect for dogs with food sensitivities due to their simple, limited-ingredient nature.
Are freeze-dried treats suitable for all dog breeds and ages?
Absolutely! Our freeze-dried treats are suitable for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs of all breeds. They’re easy to break into smaller pieces, making them ideal for training and small breeds as well.
What ingredients are used in your freeze-dried treats?
We use only high-quality, single-protein ingredients like pasture-raised chicken, turkey, beef, and duck—nothing artificial, no fillers, and no additives.
All our treats are traceable back to the farm they come from.
Beef comes from Higginson Farms in Medford Ontario.
All poultry products come from Wild Meadows Farm in Durham region.
Are your freeze-dried treats single-ingredient?
Yes, our treats are made with a single ingredient—100% real meat. This makes them a great option for dogs with food sensitivities or allergies.
We do offer treats with additional ingredients to provide additional nutrients and flavour. This is clearly called out in the ingredients list.
Where do you source your meat for freeze-dried treats?
We proudly source our meats from trusted farms, including pasture-raised poultry from Wild Meadows Farm, and pasture raised beef from Higginson Farms. Ensuring the highest quality and ethical standards.
Do you use any additives or preservatives in your freeze-dried treats?
No. Our freeze-dried treats contain zero preservatives, artificial flavors, or fillers—just pure, high-quality meat.
Are your freeze-dried treats grain-free and gluten-free?
Yes! Our treats are 100% grain-free, gluten-free, and made without soy, corn, or artificial ingredients.
