My picky female Akita stopped eating any of her raw food. I started her on the tripe and beef and bone and she devoured it. Now my little one is starting on the tripe and beef and bones and he loves it to. I rotate their proteins every day but the tripe and beef and bones is an everyday staple for them. Love this food for them!

What types of meat do you use in your dog food?
Human-grade meat, organs and bone: every ingredient is approved for human consumption. Our poultry, beef, pork and lamb are pasture-raised in Ontario, and all our poultry comes from Wild Meadows Farm.

Are your products grain-free and gluten-free?
Yes. Our raw dog food has no grains, gluten, peas, lentils or potatoes.
Is your dog food made fresh and frozen?
Yes. Our raw dog food is frozen after it's made. It stays frozen all the way to your door, by refrigerated truck. Nothing is added to preserve it: the ingredients on the label are all there is.
What's the meat-to-vegetable ratio in your dog food?
Every raw recipe follows the BARF model. That's 70% muscle meat, 10% bone, 10% organ meat and 10% fruit and vegetables, plus a sea vegetable blend. Our beef and lamb recipes are bone-free, so you control calcium.
Do you lab test your products?
Yes. A third-party Canadian lab tests the nutrient values of each recipe. The guaranteed analysis on our product pages comes from those tests.
Our food is made in a provincially licensed, regulated and inspected Ontario facility that also prepares food for people. OMAFA, Ontario's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness, licenses and inspects the province's meat plants.
